  2. Hm, my server is on Host-seed.com, I cannot update java on them :S...any suggestion ?

  3. The staff of Host-Seed answered me SO FAST and when I said them this post thread, they updated my java at that precise moment!, :D.

Lets hope that this fixes the error!, Thanks Aikar!

  4. No news for this...still crashing my sv, and the Java Update didnt work...

  5. http://www.spigotmc.org/threads/netty-update-at-own-risk.594/page-7#post-7980

I was having that problem as well. Since it happened on 3 minecraft servers on the same machine and it actually happened right after I upgraded to a SSD and more RAM (had to reinstall the OS because of that), I thought it was my fault.

    I tried the following solutions:
    • Use recommended / latest Spigot builds
    • Update all plugins
    • Reinstall Java
    • Try older versions of Java
    • Try Java 8 Beta
    • Copy server to hard disk (maybe SSD failure)
Nothing happened. I'm currently reinstalling my server. I was using Ubuntu 12.10 and I'm going to downgrade to 12.04.

Get more of these crashes if possible and disable AuthMe. I can't tell if its consistently AuthMe crashing.

  7. md_5 nope. Its not AuthMe. Was running cool for 1,5 year without crashing, now it started. After backing up to recomended Spigot (without Netty I think :( ) it stopped crashing, but ofc Netty is not the thing. The few newset build cause that...

Maybe you recomend me disabling spigot lol?

Spigot has nothing to do with the JVM crashing. Filing a Java bug report is the best source of action.

  9. Hard times, it started happening out of nowhere! And yeah it crashed 5 min ago on recommended as well! Yet it's less often

  10. What could change from one second to another without us doing anything, causing those crashes? Maybe that stupid metrics thing?

  11. And what metrics is? :p

It working flawlessly for all, and suddenly @ my
    Code (Text):
    Linux Debian-60-squeeze-64-minimal 2.6.32-5-amd64
    java version "1.7.0_10"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_10-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.6-b04, mixed mode)
it started randomally crashing no matter of spigot version

Maybe you have faulty ram / something else.
You insist on blaming everything on metrics even when there is less than 0 connection?

  13. md_5 Because metrics never seems to work at all (a lot of 502 errors). It was just a random thought.
I can't imagine why the servers of at least 3 server admins on this forum start spitting out fatal java errors at the same time. I don't think, our RAM gets faulty at the same time, right?

  14. It crashed again on recommended! No minecraft or spigot crash log what so ever! :(

Author did something wrong with the function that creates local cache for mysql database.
