Kill Effect?

  1. Hey, I am trying to recreate Mineplex's kill effect. When a player dies, a bunch of red die pops out to make it look like blood. How would I do that?
     
  2. Player death listener, a runnable and some particles
     
  3. Not particles, i want red dye to come out, like items drops.
     
  4. Code (#FED2D2):
    Item item = player.getWorld().dropItemNaturally(player.getLocation(),itemstack);
    item.setPickupDelay(...)
    I imagine you'd call something like this multiple times, collect the items, and then remove them after x amount of time before the pickupdelay ends.

  5. Drop the items, give them a pickup delay and remove before that ends.
