  1. Hi, I know Java program and I would like to learn spigot but the only thing is that I can't find any book or website providing the tutorial. I do not like to learn from YouTube. Can you guys give me some book name or link that have tutorial of Spigot

  2. Look at Bukkit's plugin tutorial.

  3. In addition to what Dot dash said, look up the javadocs for the API. Should help you a lot

  4. Is there any big difference between bukkit and spigot and where can I get the library of spigot API

  5. Spigot is a fork of Craftbukkit. Bukkit and Spigot API are APIs. There should be a maven repository to get the API.

  6. See above.
    Difference:
Spigot API and Bukkit are equal except with the spigot api you can sometimes call method named spigot() where you can use additional methods not available in bukkit.

  7. It's a maven repo

  8. Is it api library?

  9. I don't get this mentality behind newbie developers. An API is exactly what it sounds like, it's a way for you to interact with the language you already know in a way that SHOULD seem familiar and that SHOULD follow that languages standards, if there are any. This being the case, it's probably pretty well documented, and the documentation can be found here:

If you want to see a basic example of how to do a couple of things, like create a simple plugin and even see a few more in depth explanation of how plugins work in general, view this: http://wiki.bukkit.org/Plugin_Tutorial

That should be everything you need.
