Solved Maven compilation error

  1. Hey, I'm trying to compile my plugin with Maven. I have a few dependencies that I need shaded, which I'm doing like I always do. The only issue is one of my dependencies (That I don't need shaded) isn't managed through Maven, I just added the .jar as a library in IntelliJ. When I try to compile, I get a package not found error because it isn't managed through Maven. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
I went into the modules and set it's scope to provided even though it isn't in my pom.xml, but it still gives the error.
  2. Add the library to your local m2 repository and then it will be "managed through Maven"
  3. I don't know what folder to put it in
