multicraft server load increase

  1. Hey guys, first time poster here. Wondering if you guys could give me some ideas because I'm just about stumped.

Running Spigot with Multiverse at the moment. We have several multiverses, and around 54 plugins. After around Tuesday, and nothing was added on the server, so this is why I'm stumped, after about 4 or 5 hours of running, the server load will shoot up to over 7, and the CPU load will be somewhere in between 200 and 700 percent until the server is restarted. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Server specs and timing data below.

    Thanks in advance!

    3.3GHz Quad-Core E3-1230 v3 Haswell Xeon 16GB

  2. There is 1200+ entities in your world named "world". Did someone set off a large amount of tnt and then unload the chunk?

  3. not that im aware of . We have an antitnt plugin that disables tnt due to griefing.

  4. It's almost like there's some sort of memory leak going on somewhere. If you watch top, you notice the memory usage creeping up from like 35 percent on first startup, all the way up to like around 80.. and that's where the CPU starts going nuts.
