Long Live Spigot! Good luck and thanks for everything you have done so far
Keep up the amazing work!
This community is so out of shape...
Oh dear, this is quite bad. I hope all goes well.
Good luck, wishing you guys the best in getting this situation sorted out.
The EULA and bukkit being handed over to mojang's control was something that could be dodged but this looks like it could possibly be the final shot fired in this battle...
<3 Spigot and @md_5
I will stand by and await your return.
How long would it take for you to remove and create your own version of Mr Wolfe's code. @md_5. Long live Spigot.
Should Spigot project win, there would be no reason why not I dont see... @md_5 would be the person to confirm this though
It should apply to everyone I think.
Mojang dont like this anymore than we do, and it will be costing them a lot of money. This is probably the best reason for Mojang to have bought bukkit, as Mojang have a lot more 0's coming in a day than Bukkit would have, and a lot more to spend on a legal defense.
https://github.com/SpigotMC/ is back up!?!
The repos, sadly, are not: https://github.com/SpigotMC/Spigot
The actual repositories are down though. The link you have provided has been accessible to my knowledge
Agreed about how I posted that war poster. I understand the seriousness about these things, but sometimes if we let things get to us too much it can do more damage than good.
This is a dark day indeed for Minecraft. Best of luck to the spigot team.
If anyone wants the newest build of spigot...
Thanks for the detailed explanation. I really appreciate your handling of this whole sad affair.
Also, I have a question. Will linking to unofficial sites that have Spigot builds/code be tolerated by the staff? Or must we do this in private?
Nope, someone in this thread already did and their post was removed.
No links or mentions of sources please as it would defeat the object of removing the download links on our own server...
Sigh, I thought that would be so, I understand why, and I'm sure the staff rather not have too.
Yeah, but I was still making sure. Thanks for answering.
