  2. Post your configs. Pretty sure that permission node is correct but maybe you messed up somewhere in the config.

  3. These are the permissions from the site.

essentials.msg Allow access to the /msg command.
essentials.msg.color This allows you to color your private messages using color codes.
essentials.msg.magic This allows you to use the matrix/magic color in your private messages.
essentials.msg.format This allows you to format your private messages using format codes.
essentials.msg.url This allows you to use urls in your private messages.
essentials.msg.multiple This allows you to message multiple users in a single command.

Remember to add the permissions in-game.
Remember to set the groups of users in-game.

  5. Did you change the user's group?

EDIT: Can you PM me your server IP so I have a look?

  6. have you tried essentials.message

  7. have you tried google.....

  8. It should just be, essentials.msg, that is what i use, and it works.

Can you post your config on pastebin?

  9. Or perhaps it is because there is something wrong with the SQL database

  10. You can see all essentials permissions here. That permission should be right, so make sure you've definitely added it to the right group, and that the users are added.

  11. Hello,

I have tried adding it Directly to the Player, Directly to the Group, via the SQL Database and still getting you do not have permissions

  12. reinstall essentials, or try using essentialsX. Same permissions, but better.

  13. Okay, Thank you
I will try it and get back to you
