[PHP] How to get values of a HTML table.

Discussion in 'Programming' started by Remy2402, Jan 12, 2016.

  1. Heyo! I need to grab some values from a specific table on my page and I want to store it in a variable. This is a screenshot of my rows:

When I click the pardon button, I want the "offender" value of that row to be stored in a variable and then I will continue on.

EDIT: To clarify, the offender value is the "Nubshub" and "Abody_M" columns.

That is all. Thanks for your help.

  2. Learn PHP, honestly.

When constructing the table, set the href of the button to something like "/admin/pardonPlayer.php?uuid=$value"

    (Use UUIDs, not playernames)

  3. In all seriousness, I am stupid. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Oh and I don't really want to get into learning PHP. I am just doing this mini project as a one off thing and Its almost done. Just ran into this problem.

    Thanks a heap :)

  4. On the pardon button, output the player's UUID to the link after the url like @frash23 said.
