Spigot PlotMe [OFFICIAL] 0.16.3

The most popular multi-world plot management plugin.

  1. 0.16.3 has UUID support. Is your server in online mode?

  2. I am using version "0.16.3" since it was released.
In console I can see that it fetches new UUID for newer players. but it does NOT change the plot owner when a player change their username.
Player CAN still build in their plot or a plot that they were added but then they can't clear their own plot, can't add/remove other players to their plot. because it's still under their previous name.

Edit: BungeeCord is Online mode. Creative server is not. (but I can see plugins fetch UUID for players in console. such as BanManager, PlotMe, Pex..etc.)

  3. I'll look into this. Not sure what could be causing the issue.

  4. If you updated to one of the newest Dev releases and messed with your databases then you might have corrupted all of your data. These are DEV RELEASES meaning they are likely to fail. None of the database code is working as it is being rewritten. I disabled all code that reads and writes data to the database in the Dev builds.

In 0.16.3 plotme always updates the username for players who change their name. It is always looking. Try rebooting your server to see if it updates the names upon reboot. The only place where the name will not change is on the owner sign. Plotme has had UUID support for close to a year now. Name changing issues were fixed in 0.16.3 when there were reports of commands not working when they should.

  5. Nevermind, They're still stealing my borders.
They're using sticky pistons, They can only take them though. With 16.1 they could replace them, although now they just steal them.

  6. I was actually working on fixing this issue last night. Still no fix yet but progress is being made. The players stealing the borders are kinda being jerks though.

  7. There is Lava Glitch too! but on your server probably they are not aware of it. on my server people place lava next to the border and then place water bucket somehow the Obsidian will appear ABOVE the border and they are making arts and stuff on their plot border! xD
And there is nothing I could do just removing them all manually.

  8. At least they are being creative! I think something changed in minecraft code with pistons and blocks which changed the behavior of the Bukkit Events. I am working on it!

  9. Thanks a lot!! your work is highly appreciated! <3
I Understand that and I shouldn't have ever used the Dev build. I'm sorry. I hope those commands soon or later will work :)

I have a problem, Creative server crashes when certain players join it. and I get this error in console and then server stops:

[13:46:04] [Server thread/ERROR]: This crash report has been saved to: /home/creative/creative/./crash-reports/crash-2015-03-08_13.46.04-server.txt
    [13:46:04] [Server thread/INFO]: Stopping server
I then started the server, joined and teleported my self to "1439.5, 77.86249999105931, -798.5" to see what is happening there. (the location that last player joined and server crashed.) then bam!! server crashed.
Now every time I join Creative server it crashes and stops but other players can join.

From the console error I can understand that the chunks are probably corrupted.
This was happening for about a week and I was not aware of it. people msg me on Skype "Creative is down" then I just started it up without looking in logs. but now that I see, please suggest me how to fix it!

What can I do to fix this? thanks a lot in advance!! :)

  10. Make sure you are running the latest spigot/craftbukkit because i think they fixed this bug a few weeks ago.

  11. I just updated the server to 1.8.3 and this error still occurs, I'm really concerned. I don't want to regenerate an empty PlotWorld again.. :(
(I did that once after I get rid of Carbon)

Will that be fixed using This tutorial with using This tool? probably by deleting that region in plotworld world folder that is causing the error, might work?

  12. I'm personally regenerating mine soon so. xD

  13. You don't make regular backups?

  14. I do make regular backups (daily, weekly, monthly) but If I restore the creative server to the day before. a lot of people's work will be gone. they've spend hours on the server! (Yes, unfortunately I do not make hourly backups). is there any way to fix this?

  15. The finite location issue is not a plotme issue. It is an issue with CraftBukkit/Spigot.

  16. I just fixed the water/lava border issue and the piston border issue :)

    It is vanilla.

  18. I just tested it right now on my local server and it did not bounce the falling sand. This is not vanilla behavior. Even the Minecraft Wiki says that it can't do that.

  19. *waits for download*

Build something like that, and place the sand/gravel on the obsidian I am looking at. When placing it there, it will act as solid (block) for a split second, giving the repeater on the left a pulse. As the sand is falling (an entity), it can then be launched by a slimeblock.
