Potions turning into water bottles

    Whenever I try and drag a potion from creative mode into my inven, it turns into a water bottle - anyone know why?

    Since your using 1.10+ on your server and your on an earlier version.
    The minecraft potion ids changed.

    So do I just need to spawn in the potions in 1.11 and give it to my alt on 1.8?
