If you have access to the plugins folder then sure. The buyer should seek support and download updates though. Also make sure to not use the plugins for your own personal use of you aren't the buyer.
If you buy it for them that would be morally okay. However if you bought it for yourself then it is a whole different matter, and would be specific to the terms of the license.
Your best bet is probably to just ask the developer of the plugin. That is what I would do, and what I would want those who purchased my plugins to do.
