Is it possible to stop a fireball from steering from the initial trajectory without nms?
I dont think so. You have to mount the fireball on something (eg a marker) when spawning it then shoot it in some direction when you want.
Looks like EntityDamageByEntity is called when a fireball is hit but a player/ arrow. See this thread.
I was looking to do it through nms but i can't figure out what makes it change the direction, i've even overrided the tick() to no avail like it was still steering glitchy but still steering, i've looked everywhere(i'm talking about wither skull that extends the fireball if that helps in any way)
