Pterodactyl resources

  1. Hey,

thought about setting up pterodactyl myself, but I'm a bit "concerned" that it takes up much resources itself.
Anyone having more experience with it? How much resources does it take without servers running (only the daemon)?

    Thanks!

  2. The daemon is nothing more than a tiny piece of software which acts as a middleware; it exposes an HTTP API and starts, stops or restarts some Docker containers and sends these logs to the panel. Simplified, that's all it does. So in terms of resources, it doesn't take anything noticeable.

  3. To piggy back off MrDienns, it's for sure a lot better than the majority of other Control Panels out there... especially considering you can use it for so much more than just minecraft or a couple of steam games.

  4. Yeah I read that it should be pretty good but hard to setup. I mean, I know much about Linux etc so it probably is no problem at all.

Also thanks @MrDienns for the good response!

Thats all I actually wanted to know, thank!
