Pushing "/" and enter shows a list of commands

  1. There used to be an option to disable this, however i can't find it. So i assume it was removed.
Is there any other way to remove this? A player types / and pushes enter and a list of all
commands is displayed. Kind of spammy and horrible.

    So, anyway?

  2. '/' and pressing ENTER to list all commands isn't in either Bukkit or Spigot. Do you mean typing '/' and then pressing TAB?
Well if you do, this can be disabled in your bukkit.yml through the 'command-complete' option. If you don't already have it, you can add it to the main 'settings', so it should look something like this:

    Code (Text):

    settings:
      command-complete: false

  3. Weird, we have it disabled.. i was notified it was working today.
    Strange. I somehow missed that.

  4. I believe that is seperate

The only fix is to install ProtocolLib and AntiTabComplete.

I wish there was an option just to disable "/ + tab" and not all the other commands.
Don't think its possible though. :p

  8. My question is why do you guys care?

I turned it off at first then I realized how silly it was.

If you dont want the user to see a command exists, ensure it has a permission default to op or false.

if the plugin you use doesnt define the default perm, you can define it yourself in permissions.yml

    Code (Text):
    some.perm.name:
      default: op

    thats it.

Tab complete is wonderful, and losing that feature just to hide a command the user cant run anyways is meh

This has been known for a while, that is why the config is in place.
It's not the end of the world if they see your plugins, I rather have the feature as I use it constantly.

  11. I have it disabled in the config. That is clearly stated.
    To each their own.

  14. use the same technique to block /?.

  15. I already blocked it, in a different way.
Just saying its not disabled with the config.

  16. its not suppose to be nor should it be.
