[Question] Placing schematics through a empty world with a custom Generator.

Discussion in 'Spigot Plugin Development' started by tokyojack, Jun 24, 2016.

  1. Hello people of Spigot!

I'm wondering if it's possible to create a custom generator which generates a empty world, but placing WorldEdit schematics of floating buildings randomly around the empty space. I'm currently on vacation(Europe!), so I don't have a computer, so don't give me code(Well, I guess you could, but I can't use it)! I'm just brainstorming ideas and I'm checking if this is possible :p.

    Thanks,
    Jack!

  2. What are you trying to achieve at the end?

  3. Create a new world generator and add blockpopulators to set the blocks.

  4. Bump! How would I use BlockPopulators with schematics is the problem. Not even sure if that's the right way to go.

  5. What are you trying to achieve? A random structure? A prebuild structure? A specific order or just completely random points?

  6. Well, a world generating random WorldEdit Schematics(prebuilt), and having it being generate in a empty world. Doesn't need to be in any order of sorts.

  7. So are they supposed to lign up? I guess no space between them?
