So i switched to a Dedicated server and so far good but apparently its not saving the world unless i do /save-all (i think) because i did /stop last night and it removed some builds people did when it went back on unless /stop doesnt do /save-all before closing? Question is do i have to install or manually have to do something that it would normally do for your via multicraft or something? also how do i make a ./start.sh to just do /restart via in-game and not /stop and run the screen again, because it keeps saying no perm for running that file, thanks
nvm the logging part works i looked in the wrong folder lel but the saving part i dont know if its actually saving or if doing the /stop doesnt do /save-all before closing? because when i did it last night it removed some builds people made :/
next time say so and not "Server.jar" lawl? Code (Text): #Minecraft server properties #Fri May 22 03:27:05 EDT 2015 spawn-protection=0 server-name=Unknown Server generator-settings= force-gamemode=false allow-nether=false gamemode=0 enable-query=false player-idle-timeout=0 difficulty=1 spawn-monsters=true op-permission-level=4 resource-pack-hash= announce-player-achievements=false pvp=true snooper-enabled=true level-type=DEFAULT hardcore=false enable-command-block=false max-players=200 network-compression-threshold=256 max-world-size=29999984 server-port=eat me debug=false server-ip= spawn-npcs=true allow-flight=true level-name=world view-distance=5 server-id=unnamed hellworld=false resource-pack= spawn-animals=true white-list=false generate-structures=true max-build-height=256 online-mode=true level-seed= enable-rcon=false motd= you're a nub
I said "server.jar" because i meant "server.jar "... ^^ (I hope the MOTD isn't addressed at me?) Maybe try "/save-on"?
but what does that have to do with what im asking? everything already works there is this for the ./start.sh?
Please answer my question... Did you try "save-on" again? No it isn't... It changes your server's local permissions.. It allows it to write in a folder... ^^
What OS are you working on in the first place. Your screenshot looks like you are on Windows command prompt but you are talking about start.sh ... Are you SSHing?
Also your server-port= shouldn't contain characters. It has to be a number, such as Minecraft's default port 25565.
