Hi, I'm having doubts about what's the best way to regenerate a "big" (400x400 blocks) area in a server. Time ago the WE used to corrupt chunks, block's metadata etc, but I don't know why. So, the second option would be using MCEdit, but the last time someone used that program on the map, it lost the correct orientation of the hoopers, so... Do you have any experience with this problem?, which would be your choice?. thanks. Edit: any new option is also welcome. Edit2: I'm using AsyncWorldEdit + WorldEdit
you could use http://www.spigotmc.org/resources/asyncworldedit.327/ in combination with worldedit or just disable spigot restart on freeze and wait for worldedits to finish if you dont mind any players disconnecting
I forgot to write it, I'm using also AsyncWorldEdit, but it doesn't seems to matter in this case (https://github.com/SBPrime/AsyncWorldEdit/wiki/Lag#whats-not-asynced).
I've always just used WorldEdit + AsyncWorldEdit. The chunk-by-chunk regeneration is tedious, but that's what has worked well for me.
