Send message to %arg 1%

  1. Hello,

    how can I send an message to a given argument player

    Code (Text):
    command /msg [<text>] [<text>]:
        trigger:
                message "&c%player% &6-> %arg 2%" to %arg 1%
     
    This doesnt work :/

    You only put % if you want the value to a string

    Seems that you didn't get that the problem was solved, improve your English skills please (I'm not the one for say this but still...)

    There actually is an error, cannot send messages to text argument, there are 2 ways to fix this
    Code (Text):
    command /msg [<player>] [<text>]:
        trigger:
            message "&c%player% &6-> %arg 2%" to arg-1
    or
    Code (Text):
    command /msg [<text>] [<text>]:
        trigger:
            set {_p} to arg-1 parsed as a player
            message "&c%player% &6-> %arg 2%" to {_p}
