Server Date Placeholder

Discussion in 'Spigot Plugin Help' started by Jaxtrex, Apr 26, 2017.

  1. I'm trying to display the date in a motd with the %server_date_<format>% placeholder from PlaceholderAPI, but everything I try doesn't seem to work. I'm just confused on what to put in place of "<format>". I've already looked at, but I'm still confused on what to put. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Emm, download "Server" expansion and reload first
    /papi ecloud download Server
    and type to load expansion:
    /papi reload

Then you can try to use this command to test it:
    /papi parse %server_date_yyyy-MM-dd-HH:mm:ss%
If callback is time, it can work well. Like this:
    • Like Like x 1
    • Useful Useful x 1
  3. I already had the Server expansion downloaded and when I parsed it, it worked, but when I add it to my motd message, it comes out as the placeholder instead of the actual date.
  4. Maybe motd plugin doesn't support placeholderapi.
    • Agree Agree x 1
  5. In my console it says "Hooked into PlaceholderAPI"
    • Funny Funny x 1
  6. What plugin is it?
  7. PremiumHub, so it's not specifically an motd plugin and when I say motd, I'm talking about a chat message motd when someone joins the server, not the server list motd.
