Server Date Placeholder

Discussion in 'Spigot Plugin Help' started by Jaxtrex, Apr 26, 2017.

  1. I'm trying to display the date in a motd with the %server_date_<format>% placeholder from PlaceholderAPI, but everything I try doesn't seem to work. I'm just confused on what to put in place of "<format>". I've already looked at http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html, but I'm still confused on what to put. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Emm, download "Server" expansion and reload first
    Type:
    /papi ecloud download Server
    and type to load expansion:
    /papi reload

Then you can try to use this command to test it:
    /papi parse %server_date_yyyy-MM-dd-HH:mm:ss%
If callback is time, it can work well. Like this:

  3. I already had the Server expansion downloaded and when I parsed it, it worked, but when I add it to my motd message, it comes out as the placeholder instead of the actual date.

  4. Maybe motd plugin doesn't support placeholderapi.

  5. In my console it says "Hooked into PlaceholderAPI"

  6. What plugin is it?

  7. PremiumHub, so it's not specifically an motd plugin and when I say motd, I'm talking about a chat message motd when someone joins the server, not the server list motd.
