  1. Hello,
My server works fine while therre are 2 players online but whenever there are 3 on it starts lagging.

I saw on the internet there were fixes like setting up a script or something to keep it low but I don't know anything of that.

Is there someone that can help me?

I can't even run timings with 3 players online because we get timed out :(

  2. Hardware specifications & longer timings would be nice. You should be perfectly able to run a timing even when you're timed out.

    TPS is fine.
Are you home hosting? Sounds like your internet can’t keep up

I will post longer timings in a few hours!

    server specs:
    RAM: 1.5 GB
    CPU: 3.4 GHz
    Storage: 15 GB SSD
    OS: Ubuntu 14.04
    Traffic: unlimited
    Bandwidth: unlimited
    Virtualization: OpenVZ
    DDoS Protection

    Thanks for the responses.

EDIT: While trying to run longer timings the server was killed in the console:

    /home/minecraft/.control/start.sh: line 5: 22531 Killed java -Xmx${MEMORY}m -XX:permSize=256M -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -XX:parallelGCThreads=2 -XX:MinHeapFreeRatio=5 -XX:MaxHeapFreeRatio=10 -Dfml.queryResult=confirm -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -jar server.jar

  5. OpenVZ + those specs say enough about how terrible that is but the TPS is fine indeed.

  6. EDIT: I contacted my host and they provided me another server with the same specs for 7 days (what I had left)
It seems to be fine now, no lagg etc.
I'm happy to have a great host!
