server mob spawn config not working

    hello I been trying to get more mobs to spawn on my server but my config doesnt seem to be working.
    I increased the limits to 100 what else do I need to change to increase the mobs ? more like vanilla.

    Changing it works for me, I use these settings:
    spawn-limits:
    monsters: 200
    animals: 20
    water-animals: 5
    ambient: 15

    what about view distance and mob-spawn-range?

    wow 200 xD, I may give it a try with this big numbers everything is default beside the monsters I set to 100

    10 view distance,
    mob spawn range is 4 or whatever the default is and yes, I changed monsters to 200 and animals to 20
