Server not starting with java 64-bit

  1. Hello,

If I start my server when java 64-bit is installed it doesn't do anything, the log is just this:
[20:49:21] [Server thread/INFO]: Starting minecraft server version 1.15.2
    [20:49:21] [Server thread/INFO]: Loading properties

Then it just stops. Java 32-bit does work, but I need 64 because my server is running out of memory. My run command: java -DIReallyKnowWhatIAmDoingISwear -Xms1024M -Xmx4096M -jar spigot-1.15.2.jar

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Windows or linux
At the end, skip a line and add pause on the next line. Then you will see whats causing the server close. Check if your eula is on true.

  3. Windows 10, The weird thing is, it doesn't show any errors, just what I already told you. This is literally copied from command prompt:

    C:\Users\(My name)\Desktop\Server>java -DIReallyKnowWhatIAmDoingISwear -Xms1024M -Xmx4096M -jar spigot-1.15.2.jar
    Loading libraries, please wait...
[17:48:19] [Server thread/INFO]: Starting minecraft server version 1.15.2
    [17:48:19] [Server thread/INFO]: Loading properties
    >
    C:\Users\(My name)\Desktop\Server>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

The gui shows up for a few seconds without displaying any information (completely blank)

  4. Youll need to uninstall java 32 bits and change the java path into your windows settings to java 64 bits
    Java 8, 11, 13?
