Server shuts down when it reaches a certain temperature

  1. Hello! I was wondering if someone could tell me how to do this? I know its possible since I've seen it before, where it shutdowns a server when the temperature is high to avoid damage. Since I don't want the computer to automatically shutdown. So I wanna know if its possible:

That it sends a warning when temperatures are high, then shutdowns the server. I checked online but couldn't find anything (probably bc I didn't look well) Am guessing you can do this with programs, batch files, etc

Would be pog if you guys can provide me with answers : )
  2. It is probably the PC over heating. Check the cooling.
  3. Well, yeah I know that. I just want to know HOW to make a program, batch file, or if theres a plugin, or whatevs, IF theres a way to make a it that it shutdowns the server when the computer reaches a certain temperature?
  4. As I answered in your other post, you'll be fine. The server itself will thermal throttle / manually shut off if it gets too hot. Those safety measures are built right into the processor. As long as you have some air flow, your 5600x will not overheat.
