Is it possible that a wooden sword with a custom name has a different texture than a wooden sword without custom name? I've seen some video's Minescape, wich has 7 different types of swords while there are only 5 types on Minecraft. And they didn't use a custom client (as far as i know). Or is there any other way to do the same as on Minescape? Thanks in advance!
They just texture unused items. In 1.9 you will be able to change the texture of items based on the durability.
