[The First Post] The Ultimate Computer Setup

Discussion in 'Technology' started by BungeeTheCookie, Aug 30, 2014.

  1. The first post in the Technology thread! Yay!

So, what is your best computer setup, or a setup that you know of?

Include Desktop specs, monitor specs, keyboard, mouse, printer, desk, peripherals, games, headphones, whatever you can think of. And a picture would be nice. It would be a OVH setup, your own personal setup, Bill Gate's setup, I don't care.

The top ones will be posted below!

  7. Yea, it's a 27" lol.

  8. My PC Setup (In 2 Months) will be 3 IMac Pros with the following Specs:

    27 Inch Disply
Intel Quad Core I5 3.4 Ghz (Turboboost of about 4.5 Ghz)
    64 GB Memory
    500 GB Hard drive
Nvidia GTX 775M Graphics processor with 2 GB of GDDR5

Each one will be connected to 1 Apply Thunderblot Display (27 Inches as well)

This setup will be used for the 47 Servers I hope to host for my new network.

  9. Why are you using them to host your server? They are terrible for that :/ Why not use some power PCs.

  10. My new gaming rig :D Built it all by myself

  16. Explain? I host my current server on a IMac right now and it's fine.

  17. IMacs are not designed for gaming even let alone servers. If you wanted to host at home you should at least get some power PCs that are designed to host servers on. iMacs are just really expensive and inefficient for server hosting.
