java -Xmx3072M -jar spigot.jar. But its not working. Please reply soon

Thank you for your time and help. Have a nice day.

  2. It's not the best practice to give 100% of your ram to the server, it'll cause more issues than anything, try doing

    java -Xmx2048M -jar spigot.jar

If it didn't work, at least tell us what went wrong.

  5. I pressed run.bat then it closed down while i saw some youtube video's and it made the config.yml automatically for them and its not working for me.

Add a second line to the run file with "PAUSE" (without quotation marks). Then tell us what it says.

  7. It says "Unable to access jarfile spigot.jar" then it says "Press any key to continue"

Change spigot.jar to the file you downloaded - it will start with "spigot".

Also, it is a very bad idea to allocate all your computer's RAM.

  9. Is there any other codes I could try please?

Your going to have to "get it".

    Lets break this down.

    java -Xmx3072M -jar spigot.jar

First part is your ram 3072MB or 3gb
-jar shows its a jar file
spigot.jar needs to be your spigot jar name.
This could be a few different names but they need to match.

  11. Still not working Why???

Not working is useless to us, we need errors.

  13. Remove everything in your .bat file and replace it with this:
    Code (Text):
    @ECHO OFF
    SET BINDIR=%~dp0
    CD /D "%BINDIR%"
    "%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx256M -jar BungeeCord.jar
    PAUSE

  14. Not working it said

We need more information, how about screen shots?

  16. Well it obviously stated that it cannot find the path specified. It spoonfeeds you what is wrong with it, why don't you read what is wrong with it and try to be a bit self sufficient?

  18. Yes exactly what dimensionZ said, 256M would be able to hold up to 500 players on a bungeecord server. Also if you want our help you will need to give us some more info like screenshots etc.
