Using a variable from a config.yml in a plugin

  1. Hey, a quick question:
    I'm modifying a plugin called EconomyBank (Source: https://github.com/brunyman/EconomyBank) to basically add a cap for interest. How would I take a number from config.yml and use that in the plugin?
    Cheers.

  2. Yes, but I want to add to it to make a cap on interest

  3. I'm pretty sure you can go about it this way:
    Bukkit.getPluginManager().getPlugin("EconomyBank").getConfig().getInt();
    On 'getInt()' you'll need to specify the right config path just like whenever you are getting an int from your config.
    And you should also check that the plugin you are getting is actually in the server before trying to get the config.
    Good luck!

  4. I think I'd need to implement it within the plugin so I could manipulate the interest. So I would take the integer and then save it and use it where a number usually is.
