Way to connect via Bungeecord + directly with own IP

  1. Hello. I am making one project and I need following: Players can join Bungeecord to Lobby and from that to Servers with OWN IP adress. But also they can join server normally, directly with server IP and with own IP adress.

    Is that possible? If no, is there chance, you can add it? I really need it to one of my projects... Or if Bungeecord can't do it itself, isn't there some plugin for him? Or something like Bungeecord, what can do that?
  2. Well, i don't get what are you looking for, do you want players to be able to join with the server IP and the bungeecord IP? If that's the case, you may have a couple of issues, since if you want to use ip forwarding with bungeecord, you must set bungeecord to true in the servers' spigot.yml
  3. You can setup in the bungeecord config forced hosts where you can define subdomain names where if the player connects to the server using that subdomain in front of your domain it will automatically send them to the specified server.

  4. I want let them to join via lobby from bungee (but with THEIR own IP, no Bungeecord IP - like VPN) OR instantly on server via server IP adress.

    I am trying make something like portal to friendly servers, but IDK, if it is possible.... I am not sure, if friendly servers will want do it that way...
  5. I don't understand what you mean with "their own IP" :rolleyes:
  6. I mean, they will have their own IP adress, like, no all users same IP and different port -> bungee IP.
  7. When BungeeCord is set up correctly, each player should have a unique IP.
    If it is misconfigured, you'll have all players with the same IP.

    Make sure that 'ip_forward' is set to true in your BungeeCord config.yml and that 'bungeecord' is set to true in your spigot.yml on your Spigot servers.
  8. They want to do that and still be able to connect with the direct IP, which isn't possible afaik

  10. Correct, the only way is to use forced hosts.

    What is wrong here, please? It doesn't work....

    Do we need fill also host with something?

    And must be forced hosts on our domain, or it can be wheterever domain it likes? Beacuse our friendly server doesn't have same domain, but I think, we can make it some way...

    But what is wrong in that code, please?

  12. What error/issue are you having with that config?
    Try replacing mc.mcjabko.cz with the actual numerical IP and port of that specific server.

    I believe any domain can be used for forced hosts, it doesn't necessarily have to be on the same domain.
