Ways to rotate an ArmorStand as an Entity?

  1. BodyPose doesn't work like I want and the armor stands don't respond to the PacketPlayOutEntityLook. I'm at loss, I can't just teleport it around because it's mounted on a player and teleporting anything in the stack messes all up and the armor stand doesn't really want to render as remounted.
     
  2. cast it to a craftarmorstand, get the handle and set that's rotation - at least that's the way I'm doing it, but it uses NMS and some consider this a bad thing.

  3. Are you creating a Custom Entity? NMS could be handy with this.
    What are you trying to accomplish by this? :)
     
  4. I would like it not to snap when I'm rotating.

    I haven't looked into the EntityArmorStand class yet, I guess I should have. Good call.
