I have been creating Minecraft servers for almost two years now, and after spending 4+ hours on configuring CMI's language file to match the color scheme of the server @Verum asked me why I did not just use notepad++ mass replace. So what tools/hacks do you use to speed up the server creation process?
Perl is a fun language if you need something a little more complex than find and replace, but you can do a lot with even just Notepad++ regex mode if you are familiar with that kind of thing.
Best tool for me is: Total commander and notepad ++. Comparing two files is fastest for me in Totalcommander > Files > Compare by content" and of course best for editing ymls - notepad++
