So, Hey everyone! It's me Lightcab again and today I have a silly question roaming in my mind. What kinda music do you listen or prefer to listen while programming ? And have a good day guys .
Techno, or something moving! One does not simply write code listening to classical music. lol I just listen to what ever catches my attention for the moment, while I program for websites & back-end stuff.
It really depends on what you like. I do anything from EDM to Logic to OurLastNight - everyone's is different
If I'm coding large projects in a single setting... Disturbed, Skillet, Starset, Thousand Foot Krutch, Three Days Grace, Immortal Technique Otherwise, Monstercat, House Party Mixes, Chill House, etc.
[offtopic] Nice to see you back [/offtopic] Personally, when getting work done, I like trap music and proximity.
If I'm sane: Arcade Fire, Boards of Canada, Daft Punk, Dire Straits, James Blake, sometimes Laibach, netcat If I go insane: Almost anything off YouTube, They Might Be Giants, Laibach, Kraftwerk
smooth jazz, old school hip-hop, mozart/chopin. I fail to see how someone could develop while listening to loud and choppy music such as dubstep.
For long, late night sessions jazz without vocals works best for me. I got a good chunk of Paul Desmond's discography, which usually works for me.
I either listen to music with lyrics in a language I don't know (Normally Spanish) and then I love this playlist on Spotify, which is some nice classical piano.
My 12 hour long Electro, House and EDM playlist of course! (Shameless self advertising - http://open.spotify.com/user/chillysauce5/playlist/5yh7Ek65NbTloFTzmabTs1 )
EDM and Podcasts because I hate my brain. Also classical every time I run into a bug Also, for any other podcasts listeners I recommend: Hello Internet Bonanza No Such Thing As A Fish The Bugle (if you like current events) Upgrade Rocket Clockwise Inquisitive I really like relay fm
