When Starting Spigot Server with .bat it wont port forward

Discussion in 'Spigot Plugin Help' started by Jucci_, Feb 7, 2020.

  1. when i start my spitgot server using a .bat file i cannot connect to it using my public ip
bat file: java -Xms2G -Xmx2G -jar spigot-1.15.2.jar nogui
however when i do not use that bat file and start the .jar i can connect using my public ip

does anyone know why this is happening

  2. I only know this shouldn't be happening.
What else do you use to turn on your server that allows you to connect using your public IP?

Please note that portforwarding works for that specific service/name only.
So if you portforward the name of "spigot.jar", spigot-1.15.2.jar wouldn't work.
