WhosAFK - A plugin that lists the players who are AFK in the tab list

There are some plugins that broadcast when a player has gone AFK. That's fine, but if a player joins after the broadcast, how is that player going to know that the first player is AFK? This plugin solves that problem.

When a player goes AFK, the plugin will turn their player's name blue and will put the characters "(AFK)" at the end of their name in the tab list. Other players will know this player is going AFK because the server broadcasts that the player is AFK, and players who miss the...

Awesome idea! Could you add an auto afk after a configured amount of time? Auto kick after afk for configured amount of time?

DrOverbuild updated WhosAFK with a new update entry:

Added Events

WhosAFK calls two events when a player goes AFK:
whosafk.events.AFKStatusOffEvent and
whosafk.events.AFKStatusOnEvent. When this event is called, you can change the message and set the player, or cancel the event if you want.

This is entirely an API update. Nothing changed for users.

Hi mate, cool plugin. As I don't use essentials, I was wondering if you can make a tpa plugin with permissions and also a msg plugin also with permissions but can you do like custom messages? So like if a player does /msg and presses enter, it would come up with a little help message like Usage: /tpa <player>. If so, please can you do it with the message plugin too? (Sorry for bad English).

Unfortunately, I do not have much time to volunteer my services, as my senior year in high school just started and I have many other projects to work on. I suggest looking for a smaller lightweight plugin on the Spigot resources first, and if you cannot find a good one, request a plugin at one of the many plugin shops over in the Offering - Developers section.

DrOverbuild updated WhosAFK with a new update entry:

v1.2

This update has a some nice changes.

Configurability. Several different features can now be configured. Check the main plugin description for documentation on the config file.

Permissions. Only players with permission whosafk.afk can use the /afk command. Only players with permission whosafk.autoafk can automatically go into AFK mode if they're still for a while. These two permissions are given to all players by default.

Config Reload. Enter...
