Question about wb fill force: Are existing chunks deleted and regenerated, or something different?

  3. Just a note: if you are running Spigot 1.14, you'll currently do better running WB 1.9.0. The beta 1.9.9 build uses the ability to cancel a ChunkUnloadEvent as part of the async Fill functionality trying to make sure chunks get fully generated by having their neighbors still loaded. It appears that functionality (ChunkUnloadEvent being cancellable) was removed in Spigot 1.14, leading to errors from WB 1.9.9 beta.

We'll need to find another workaround to handle that.

  4. Is there anyway to make the border visible like the default border is?

  5. World border does not display anything so I think that would be a major feature addition.

  6. Which version is best for paper 1.14.1? Would like to run pre-gen in the background while players can have a nice gameplay experience free of lag if they need to teleport.

  7. I used version 1.9.0 and got it to work okay. However, I noticed that much of 1.14.1's lag is caused by chunk loading, not chunk generating, so I still have lag spikes when anyone teleports.

  8. Hey I am to stupid to check this:
First i set the shape of the worldborder to "round". Than I did /wb set 8000 8000 spawn. After that I did /wb fill. After 25% I did /wb fill cancel.

So what is my pre-generated radius now xD (in blocks)?

Would be nice if someone could help me^^

  9. If you cancelled it. As far as I know, it deletes all the pre generated blocks.

  10. I'm on 1.14 Spigot and I always receive this crash after 4 minutes of /fill command.

  11. Brettflan updated WorldBorder with a new update entry:

1.14 compatible release with async chunk gen for Paper

Read the rest of this update entry...

  12. I'm still getting this error on PaperSpigot 1.14

  13. Hey, I'm running a Spigot 1.14.1 server and running the latest version of WolrdBorder, sometimes when I restart my server or it crashes the world border shrinks down to 9999 x 9999 by default. Any idea why this occurs?

  14. Does the fill command overwriting existing chunks? I'm sure this has been answered somewhere but I can't seem to find anything.

  15. The as long as you set the last parameter to "false" when calling /wb fill, it will skip over existing chunks.

I have the error as well where I crash every time the fill command begins to generate new chunks. I'm stuck

  16. Plugin Is working on 1.14.2 but both on this version and on 1.14 when I generate a world with a radius more than (approx) 700 blocks, it generates chunks in a messy way.. it skips some and generates others.. it makes a mess. I have to trim down to around 400 and then fill up to 700 and no more

  17. I faced the following problem: I have a world border in the main world at 10,000 blocks and in the lower world at 2,500 blocks, if I move from the portal to the lower world beyond 2,500 blocks in the ordinary world, the plugin prohibits teleporting as it reaches the world border, although in the main world the border of 10,000 blocks and the plugin does not allow to move back to the same portal from where I came and teleport supposedly to the border of the world only in the main world
P.S. sorry for my English, I use a translator.

10000 < 2500*8. Does the problem occur if you are within 1250 in the lower world?

  19. I managed to fully generate my border at a radius of 10,000, but then I decided to make my border a radius of 20,000 and I seem to be hitting some issues. The first generation ran smoothly, took around 2 days at speed 10 and didn't have noticeable lag for the most part. When generating the second time I ran the same speed of 10 to reduce lag, but it seems as if it's getting stuck, or at least slowing to a crawl (doing 10 or so chunks per notification) at around 36.8, and dropping the TPS down to 4-5 instead of 16-20.

Is there anything I can try to do to fix this? Or will I just have to leave it running and hope it gets past that section?

Currently running Paper 70 (1.14.2) and WB 1.9.10 Beta

    Thanks in advance! :)
