  1. Hello there Walzen665 here,

I rent a minecraft server and my WorldGuard doen't want to work.

I put the most recent file downloaded from: https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/worldguard/files in my Plugins folder.

When I start my server this error appears: upload_2020-3-25_15-9-3.png

I have only two Plugins in my Plugins folder: LuckyPerms which works fine, and worldguard V.7.0.2.

On server reload this error appers:

    ------------
    [14:58:18] [Server thread/ERROR]: Could not load 'plugins/worldguard-bukkit-7.0.2.jar' in folder 'plugins' org.bukkit.plugin.UnknownDependencyException: WorldEdit at org.bukkit.plugin.SimplePluginManager.loadPlugins(SimplePluginManager.java:221) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_15_R1.CraftServer.loadPlugins(CraftServer.java:351) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_15_R1.CraftServer.reload(CraftServer.java:809) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at org.bukkit.Bukkit.reload(Bukkit.java:576) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at org.bukkit.command.defaults.ReloadCommand.execute(ReloadCommand.java:27) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at org.bukkit.command.SimpleCommandMap.dispatch(SimpleCommandMap.java:149) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_15_R1.CraftServer.dispatchCommand(CraftServer.java:711) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.PlayerConnection.handleCommand(PlayerConnection.java:1657) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.PlayerConnection.a(PlayerConnection.java:1497) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.PacketPlayInChat.a(PacketPlayInChat.java:47) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.PacketPlayInChat.a(PacketPlayInChat.java:1) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.PlayerConnectionUtils.lambda$0(PlayerConnectionUtils.java:19) ~[minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.TickTask.run(SourceFile:18) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.IAsyncTaskHandler.executeTask(SourceFile:144) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.IAsyncTaskHandlerReentrant.executeTask(SourceFile:23) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.IAsyncTaskHandler.executeNext(SourceFile:118) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.MinecraftServer.ba(MinecraftServer.java:918) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.MinecraftServer.executeNext(MinecraftServer.java:911) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.IAsyncTaskHandler.awaitTasks(SourceFile:127) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.MinecraftServer.sleepForTick(MinecraftServer.java:895) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:828) [minecraft_server.jar:git-Spigot-800b93f-8160e29] at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748) [?:1.8.0_232]

I read the error but i dont have a clue what it means. I have only basic java knowledge. Thanks to everyone who gives my submission a look.

  2. Do you have worldedit? if yes in the correct version?

  3. No, worldedit is not installed. Is it requiered for worldguard to work? I heard that already some years ago. Could be my mistake.

  4. Yup, it is.

  5. Bro thanks for ur fast reply. Installing WorldEdit fixed this issue. Sorry for wasting ur time.
