Would this be safe

  1. Would it be safe to have a BungeeCord network on a 'small' vps, linked to just a server on my computer at home? I don't want to have to order a more expensive server as of right now, and this would only be temporary. Would this protect my IP from strangers without having to use VPNs, ect.

  2. There's probably a way to still get your IP

  3. No, I'm sorry I guess you have to pay a bit more money that's very unsafe because there is a way to get your ip...

Depends how BC works. I don't know about it, I don't really use it. If it passes the connection totally to the server you switch to in game, then a sniffer would see what IP the traffic is going to. If it acts as a proxy and relays the traffic, (which I assume it does), then theoretically you should be OK.

  5. Depends on your configuration. I'm not sure how exactly, but I managed to route all the traffic with the ip of the BungeeCord(Think there was some kind forwarding option in the config), since it was few years ago.
