DonateParty Tutorial
-
- Please use Java 1.8 and the latest Minecraft Spigot 1.9 version. Other versions will not have complete compatibility.
- Stop your server if you currently have one running.
- Place DonateParty.jar inside your /plugins/ directory of your Spigot installation.
- Start your server.
- /DonateParty is the main command. Want to see command help? Do /donateparty help.
- The first step is to create a donateparty. Do:
Code (Text):/donateparty create <goal>
- Messed up? Delete it by doing
Code (Text):/donateparty delete
- Forgot what you set goal to? You can see info about your donateparty by doing:
Code (Text):/donateparty info
Once you setup the Donateparty, DonateParty needs to allow donations to increase the current value.
In your donation management system (Buycraft is most preferred), follow the instructions:
Once you have the Buycraft plugin configured, Nothing is needed. By default, DonateParty will automatically look for donations and add them to the DonateParty. That was easy!
Unfortunately, this plugin does not support every donation management system out there. This includes Enjin and many others. If you are, please add this command to every rank.
Code (Text):/donateparty donate {PLAYER-VAR-HERE} <price>
A common one is: {PLAYER}
Please find information about this with your donation management system. Otherwise, feel free to contact @Rbt
Once this is setup, console can run commands, announcements, and titles when the donation goal is reached.
Use the command:
Code (Text):/donateparty set announcement &3This is an announcement
Color codes can be used. Also, multiple announcements can be added.
You can use this command twice and multiple messages will be added when a goal is reached.
To remove, use:
Deletes a specific line. This removes it from the list of announcement(s).For example, settings <line>
to 1 would delete the first announcement.
Use the command:
Code (Text):/donateparty set command gamemode c {PLAYER}"
The tag {PLAYER} replaces the player who will be given gamemode c, for example. Multiple commands can be added by using the command more than once.
To remove, use:
Code (Text):/donateparty remove command <line>
Use the command:
Code (Text):/donateparty set gcommand announcement &3Hello {PLAYER}"
To remove, use:
Code (Text):/donateparty remove gcommand <line>
Use the command:
Code (Text):/donateparty set title &3This is a title
To remove, use:
Code (Text):/donateparty remove title
Now that you have DonateParty setup, are there any other features?
Yes! You can increase the current price or the goal by using this command:
The donateparty can be forcefully started using this command:
Code (Text):/donateparty run
Code (Text):/donateparty restart
Code (Text):/donateparty reload
Code (Text):/donateparty increase <current/goal> <amount>Code (Text):/donateparty decrease<current/goal> <amount>
More settings and messages can be customized in this file: /plugins/DonateParty/settings.yml. Please customize this at your own risk. If at any time you come across errors from editing this yml file, please stop your server, delete the file, and start your server again. The config will reappear with the settings reset.
Warning: Please do not modify the file at /plugins/DonateParty/storage.yml. This file is used for storage purposes and will cause problems if manually edited. Use the ingame commands instead!
More features will be added in the future! If you have any ideas or customizations, these customizations may be added with my consent. - Please use Java 1.8 and the latest Minecraft Spigot 1.9 version. Other versions will not have complete compatibility.
