MMOItems - Custom Blocks & Monsters' Drops

  • This Wiki section how to use the custom mob/block drops system.
Here is an example of a working drops.yml file:

    • It means that whenever a Zombie is killed, the item (which Item ID is 'RAPIER' and which type is 'sword') have a 57% chance to drop and a 85% chance to be unidentified when dropped.
      • Same for BANDAGE which has a 100% chance to drop when the same Zombie dies.
    • The 'blocks' section means that whenever a player breaks a Cobblestone block, the item which ID is 'BANDAGE' and which type is 'consummable' have a 10% chance to drop from the block.

Here is the format you must use:
    Code (Text):
    mobs:
      MOB_TYPE1:
        item_type1:
          ITEM_ID1: [DROP_CHANCE],[UNIDENTIFIED_CHANCE]
          ITEM_ID2: [DROP_CHANCE],[UNIDENTIFIED_CHANCE]
        item_type2:
          ITEM_ID1: [DROP_CHANCE],[UNIDENTIFIED_CHANCE]
      MOB_TYPE2:
        item_type1:
          ITEM_ID1: [DROP_CHANCE],[UNIDENTIFIED_CHANCE]
    blocks:
      BLOCK_ID:
        item_type1:
          ITEM_ID1: [DROP_CHANCE],[UNIDENTIFIED_CHANCE]
The system is not case sensitive, which means it doesn't require you to put cases everywhere. However editing a clear file is way easier, so I recommend you to do it if you really have a lot of drops to add.
It is recommended to use Notepad++ if you have lots of drops to add. Tip: use the - at the left of the text which allows you to hide a part of the file.
